Description
The 2000 Series Craftsman(R) 26-in wide 4-drawer rolling tool cabinet is a rugged storage space that is designed to last, with an 18-20 gauge steel I-Frame(R) double-wall construction. Each drawer can support 75 lb and features heavy-duty soft-close drawer slides that gently pull themselves shut without slamming. This helps keep your tools in place and ensures your drawers stay closed. Full-grip tubular side handles make it easy to carry around, while the embossed top mat protects the surface and prevents tools from falling off when the cabinet rolls. The 2 locking casters and 2 swivel casters can withstand up to 650-lb. Finally, a keyed internal locking system with an included set of keys safeguards your most valuable tools. Red model.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ENCMark from Close but not a match to Craftsman 2000 CMST24110 Purchased this rolling tool cabinet to compliment the Craftsman 2000 series rolling cabinet, model CMST24110 that I currently have. Disappointed when I assembled this cabinet only to find that the wheels are smaller diameter than my original cabinet. This cabinet stands about 3" lower with the smaller wheels, plus the wheels are plastic vs rubber. Rolling this cabinet across my garage floor is noisier than get out. Other than the cheap small wheels, the cabinet construction is the same as my other chest.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BopW from Drawers are OK. Wheel locks difficult to use. It's an attractive unit, and the drawers work well, sliding on races with bearings. But only ONE rubber mesh shelf liner is included, for the top, and only only TWO of the four wheels pivot, so the cabinet can only be moved easily in one direction, by pushing on the side handle, so steering it anywhere you like is not straightforward. The Styrofoam packing material was not sealed, so lots of tiny crumbled bits of Styrofoam were left adhering all over the unit and on the shop floor after unpacking. The two wheel locks work OK, but they're difficult to actuate properly. Installing the wheels with 4 supplied screws required a long neck nut driver because the two fixed wheels get in the way of the screws heads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chief from Holds a lot This tool cabinet holds a lot of stuff. Tool tote bags, Plano type containers full of screws, bits, etc. A lot more than just tools. I like the soft close drawers too. It comes with one top liner, so I bought some Duck brand solid rubber liner and lined all the drawers. It didn't cost too much. The casters are smooth. It's a pretty quality piece of garage equipment. It looks a lot better than the old TV stand I was using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dolly from great tool ches This worked out great for organizing and storing the tools in my studio. My work spaces are now free of clutter and all my tools are easy to access. The drawers are a little resistant to open, but I believe that is part of the function of staying closed in a safe manner when the chest is moved around. I lined the drawers with rubberized non-slip under-the-rug material similar to what was provided on the top of the cart. That made a soft and non-slip landing for all my tools.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MDLowesShopper from Perfect for under a workbench My husband has bought and used Craftsman products for a very long time, especially due to their warranty on tools and good experiences. He has two larger tool chests and wanted two small versions to fit under a new workbench he is building. He was able to easily assemble both of them, however, one was dented at the bottom corner upon unpacking causing uneven sitting on surfaces. He doesn't want to send back and is opting to even the wheels by adding a piece of material, wood or metal under that side of tool chest and reattaching the caster. It does not affect functionality but this seems to be an issue for many buyers. The drawers slide smoothly and the cabinet otherwise rolls well on the floor. Because it was a great price, still works well when assembled and exactly what he needed I gave 4 stars. I hope Craftsman starts to use a better packaging system to ensure undamaged products.
